    However for primary school kids, i will motivate the students through little gifts and words of encouragement. For secondary school students, I would motivate them mainly though target setting. I will try my best to ensure an interactive learning experience for the student so to keep them participative and better deliver the content.

    To me, I believe that patience and passion are two of the most important traits to be a good tutor. The stress and competitiveness of from school work and acedamic performances have already overwhelmed many students and parents as well, so I believe that the ability to make tuition enriching while interesting and motivating through communication and building friendship with the students are essencial to ensure effective and constructive teaching that translate into the students' acedamic progress.

      During my JC holidays, I have helped quite a number of my juniors in their studies of various subjects.Even back in my secondary school days, i have been to XingHua primary school to each the kids from lower income families. Also, my experience as a student myself allows me to better communicate with them and gives me the familiarity of the syllabus. These experience allowed me to understand the needs of various backgrounds and finding the best way to cater to the need of the child. I believe that every child is unique and apart from ensuring his or her studies by proving academic materials, i believe that building a inter-personal relationship is vital to encourage the kids to adopt an independent and pro-active learning attitude or even an interest to the field that I am teaching.

        I like to expose my students to other schools past years exam papers besides asking them to do assessment books. other than that, I help my sisters regularly with their homeworks so I am aware of the syllabus
