To break the ice with students, I normally ask them many questions about their school and personal life. Being a student myself, I am able to relate to their everyday life and hence build a friendly relationship with the student.

I have just graduated from my school not a long time ago, hence I am very knowledgeable with the current exam syllabus. In addition, being an active tutor, I keep up to date with the syllabus through MOE websites and fellow tutors.
