Commitment / Other Details: My philosophical commitment is simple- I ENSURE THE STUDENT UNDERSTANDS THE SUBJECT MATTER RATHER THEN MEMORIZING IT....I also strive in making the student love a particular subject and understand the need he or she is studying it..Once i have embarked on a tuition assignment, my commitment will ensure that i see the student all the way through until their exams are finished..I am flexible to teach at the students house. I also do prepare my own examination based on the teaching syllabus every forth night. This is to ensure that the students are well prepared for all their upcoming exams.

Rapport Building: I usually build my rapport with the students by bringing myself to their psychological level, rather then forcing them to my level. This ensures the knowledge to be then easily transferred...once this is achieved then together we would move up the various knowledge levels required...as for with the parents, I am in constant contact with them describing the detailed journey their child is engaging in. I will also then provide measures on how they can further compliment their children's capabilities, hence further developing their education progress and experience.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I constantly update myself with the syllabus by engaging on online educational forums and attending seminars...I am also in close personal contact with various teachers and examiners from the examination board and around the globe.

As a Good Tutor: There are many personal qualities and skills that I strongly belief in.

Rapport Building: I try to be like a friend with the student. Usually I tend to ask them about their days at school, what have they done for the day. I usually do a monthly update with the students parents on their progress. I also tend to tell them what I intend to do in future, for e.g. if I need extra lessons to be conducted for the students, usually I inform the parents why and when I need to have those lessons.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have been teaching for many few years. Hence very familiar with the curriculum. I will also ask my students on what are the new updates. Read up on MOE websites. I have sibling and cousins who are both primary and secondary school teachers. Hence I do get updates from them too.

As a Good Tutor: To be a good tutor, one need to set themselves as a role model. I believe I have the qualities such being self-independent, being patient, respectful, caring, punctual and being like a friend to the student.
