I feel that being a teacher encompasses more than just the passing down of knowledge. I believe that teachers, students, and their parents, should connect to even a personal level. From experience, a great teacher is one who is like "family" to his/her employees.

    Firstly, i communicate directly with parents about current stage of the students ( their interest, their ability to grasp new concept, their study habit,...) to have a better understanding to at the same time to work together with parents to support the students.

    Keeping Up with Curriculum
    I am currently doing an internship at a firm with a jobscope is to analyze secondary school syllabus for Mathematics. Thus, i consider myself as updated with the curriculum, especially secondary Maths.
    As a Good Tutor
    For me the most important thing is knowing what i am teaching and be good at it. This will help my students to be more confident to trust in me. Only then, we can work well together.

    Secondly, patience is also another key point for a good tutor. Not all students are the same, thus a tutor must be patient to find the most effective way to guide the students.

        While I am unable to upload any of my photos and certificate, this is due to a technical error on the tuition webpage. I will be able to produce any form of hard copy certificates if required. As a punctual person, I will not be late for lessons and am willing to extend lessons if required. However, this has to be informed prior to lesson so that I will be able to make necessary arrangements.

        The more students I take, the more awareness I gained through their studies. In a way, this allows me to keep up with the changing curriculum

        To the parents, I think the most practical qualities of a good tutor would be to help students achieve the required grades. While I will try my best to achieve this goal, my personal view on the qualities of a good tutor is being able to motivate students and arouse interest in the subject
