I have been giving tuition since university days in 2004. After which i went to NIE to be trained as a secondary school teacher. SInce then, I taught Chemistry to upper secondary school students. I am experienced in preparing Sec 4/5 students for the O Levels. I can also teach Combined Chemistry. I left the teaching service this year and is giving tuition part time.
I am able to start immediately and is able to commit for the whole academic year. For Sec 3 students, I will be glad to follow through up to Sec 4. I am available to give tuition on weekends (Morning/early afternoon preferred).
Rapport Building
I will try to ask my students which topics they need more help in and build confidence from there. When the student sees he or she can understand his/her weaker topics, confidence builds up.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will keep myself updated with the Chemistry syllabus through the SEAB website. By looking at the O level year papers will allow me to keep up with the trends, and how questions are crafted.
