As an active musician, I stay current by performing regularly and refining my craft, to ensure that I grow and improve in my own art. By doing so, this allows me to share learning materials I use for myself, showcasing how I utilize materials and sharing efficient ways that has worked for me. I also regularly reflect on my teaching practice, incorporating feedback and adjust lesson pacing based on my students. This allows me to maintain a strong balance between creativity, technique and long-term development.
As a Good Tutor
To me, teaching and sharing lessons on music offers powerful life lessons. My goal is to help students grow not just as musicians but hopefully as individuals, using drumming as a path to personal development and joy.           I keep up to date using revision books in Popular outlets -- that way I know what essays and comprehension questions expect of current students. The rest, I believe, is up to personal practice (since English is less about cramming than it is practice, understanding, and experimentation.)
