Rapport Building: As I have been through the recent education system, I can understand the students and be able to build rapport with them. The parents are free to ask about the progress of their child and they can be involved in their learning.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As i have taken recent examinations which the students will be taking, I am familiar with the current curriculum and syllabus. If changes to the syllabus are made, I will learn extensively to help the student to tackle the changes.

As a Good Tutor: I am patient with students who are slow. I am willing to explain to them in different ways if they don't understand.
Being an academically strong student, I can offer tips and advice, based on my experience, which help me through my education and allowed me to attain the grades I have today. These advice will not only be useful in academic areas, but in other areas of life.

Rapport Building: I would like to teach in the Choa Chu Kang or Jurong West area as these places are closest to home and university. I prefer to have the tuition lessons from about 7pm or 7.30pm during the weekdays.

Rapport Building: Working very closely with the parents by keeping them informed of what is going on throughout the lessons. Be sensitive to the needs of the pupils and constantly communicating with them to find out if the pupils are troubled by any issues that affect their studies and cause them to be aggressive and emotionally unstable.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am a current school teacher and am also trained in the advanced diploma in art education for the whole primary level.
I often upgrade myself by reading, attending courses, sharing with friends and fellow teaching colleagues.

As a Good Tutor: A good tutor should also take a great interest in the pupil you are teaching.
The tutor should keep a proper record of what he or she is teaching every lesson and what issues or problems the pupil encounters along the way.
A good tutor should also work hard to bring up the best in the pupil you are helping.

Rapport Building: I generally would like to know more about my student's previous method of studying and would review his previous examination scripts in order to identify the key areas to work on. I would also work with my student's parents to ensure that homework is completed and revision is done on a weekly basis.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have been tutoring throughout this year and hence I am up to date with the current syllabus. I also have many past year prelim papers and notes from various JCs that can help enhance my student's learning experience.

As a Good Tutor: Having been through various tutors myself, I would have to say that a good tutor is one who is patient and is more than willing to explain key concepts over and over again until the student can master it. A good tutor is also able to provide a nurturing and encouraging environment which I think I can uphold !
