Commitment / Other Details: I am a dedicate and patient tutor. I am flexible with my tuition schedules and will make necessary arrangements if required. During the course of tuition, I will also answer questions outside tuition hours via sms, whatsapp or email whenever necessary.

Rapport Building: During the course of tuition, I will make an effort to ensure that I fully understand the student's typical school curriculum and his/her goals and dreams. By learning more about my students, I will be able to personalize my teaching methods to suit each of my student. This is because I do not believe in a One-Size-Fits-All teaching style.

Clear effort will also be made to inform parents of their students progress and keep them in loop with their children's school work and activities whenever possible. I am also very open to questions from parents and will always try to address them.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: To keep in touch with the exam syllabus, I tend to visit the local book store to check up on the latest revision and study guides available and access MOE website on to check for any changes in the syllabus. My teacher friends in different schools will also keep me updated on any major changes in their schools' teaching curriculum.

As a Good Tutor: I believe in patience and dedication when it comes to tutoring my students. I am always willing to go the extra mile for my students so that my students can achieve their goals.
Furthermore, I believe that as a tutor, I am also responsible in guiding my students and allow them to be better learners and to realise their potential.
To learn well, one must be able to study smart, not just to study hard.

Rapport Building: I think it is the key why I have helped so many of my students as I am very relatable to them. I come from an International School background, lived overseas for 10 years and have taught over 30 students from various international schools for the past 3 years. Keeping Up with Curriculum: I often visits websites to brainstorm on ideas on different teaching methods. I also observe my fellow piano teacher friends' classes to get some inspirations. I often visit music bookstores for the latest updated books and buy them to help enhance my lessons and classes.

As a Good Tutor: It is important to maintain a good rapport with the students and also their parents. Students tend to enjoy lessons more when teachers are not too fierce and put in the effort to know more about them as children these days are already stressed out by school and other curriculum activities. It is also important to infuse fun elements in learning so as to make things interesting for them.

Rapport Building: Commitment is crucial in music learning, it cant be happened over night, by putting an effort in a correct way will make the learning effective and efficient. Every month, I will give a feedback on how the student doing and how they improve.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As I am used to ABRSM syllabus, I update myself with the teacher guide book from ABRSM, or attend a workshop for music teaching. I went to several concerts as well to broaden up my musical experience.

As a Good Tutor: A good collaboration and chemistry between teacher and student are very important. As a teacher, one must understand the character of the student in order to keep them motivated in their piano lesson.
Secondly, quality of playing is very crucial. It is not only playing all the notes accurately, but with a proper hand position, touch and musical idea which brings out music.
Lastly, as a good tutor, one must know how to reward students' hard work. Reward them with a small present or even appraisal will make them motivated and love what they are doing!
