Rapport Building: I have a spontaneous and outgoing personality with no problems with social interactions! I am able to communicate well with people around me. I would ensure that as a tutor to my student, I would constantly teach and not be bossy, impart the skills that i have acquired for the certain subjects to my students to allow them to improve their grades. Encouragement is important and so is honesty. I would be honest about their child's progress to the parent.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: My sister is currently in secondary school and I occasionally help her with her school work. Hence, in order to keep myself updated with the syllabus I would be using her materials to revise and keep in check with the current content and examination format.

As a Good Tutor: I think patience and understanding my student's needs are very important. I have to know exactly what my student is weak in and not assume that they have knowledge on certain ideas or topics, but to ensure that every scope is covered and they fully understand my lesson and teachings. Step-by-step approach and practice is key to improving grades and hence I would consistently keep this in mind when approaching the student's course of learning.

Rapport Building: I always give my students an overview of the lesson on that day and I would quickly review the last lesson with the student before I start the lesson, because the student may not remember what they have learnt previously as they may not study much at home. This has also been proven to be very useful according to my students. If there is a schedule for the content to teach at the organization, I am also able to plan my lessons according to the schedule by adjusting the duration and content of every part of my lesson plan.
I have passion in teaching. All my students found that they could learn happy with me, as I am able to chat with them and make jokes during breaks and it makes them feel easy and pleased.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As a responsible tutor, I always got to know what they understand and what they do not know before I prepare my lessons. And I know that it is much easier for students to follow a procedure so I always break the solution into parts and teach students to follow the steps that I teach. This would also reduce their careless mistakes to a large extent as they follow the procedure. Students may occasionally have difficulties in understanding the techniques. I am able to quickly pick up another way to teach them and by changing the teaching techniques according to the students, they always found my lessons very gainful and their grades improved very fast.
