Tuition/Teaching Experience: I worked at a tuition centre last year and was assigned private and small classes. My experience includes lower secondary science, N-Level and O-Level Chemistry and Physics. I helped students who were struggling with the subjects, as well as those in accelerated classes where I had to teach stimulating beyond-syllabus content to keep them interested. Though I have not taught English, I am confident that with my flair for English and easy distinctions in all my previous English exams, I will be of help to students with various needs.

Commitment / Other Details: I believe that learning Chinese has to start with having an interest in the subject which is difficult for students nowadays. For younger students, I would hope to get them interested in learning Chinese through interesting activities which I believe will help them know that learning Chinese and speaking Mandarin is not as difficult as they think it is. As a Chinese Studies graduate, I am experienced in the language as well as the literature components and I do have the resources to plan lessons suited to the needs of the students of different levels.

I firmly believe that students should understand what they are taught unlike in school where things are being rushed. Having said so I ensure a balance between the students progress while giving them sufficient time to absorb what is being taught.
