Rapport Building: I would review the students work weekly, even the school assignments that are given to them to help assess the level of help and attention that is required for each student. I will also discuss with the parent after the lessons in regards to the progress and also if there are any areas that needs to be improved.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have friends who are school teachers and I would check with them on a time-to-time basis with regards to the changing curriculum in today's academic coursework.

As a Good Tutor: I believe that a good tutor is not only one that helps student excels in academic work, but also understand the strengths and weakness of each student. This would greatly help in the student to explore other potential areas of excellence. A good tutor needs to be committed and teach with patience and care for the student's well-being.
