I have previously been engaged by a non- chinese speaking family as a tutor for the kid on the subject of Chinese. I believe that this experience have further help me in future job assignments in terms of the method of teaching.

Commitment / Other Details
I will be able to commit from the month of July onwards to December 2015. As I am currently under Concurrent Degree Programme to finish my full-time masters, I will only be available in the day until 5pm for tuition assignments.
Rapport Building
I would review the students work weekly, even the school assignments that are given to them to help assess the level of help and attention that is required for each student. I will also discuss with the parent after the lessons in regards to the progress and also if there are any areas that needs to be improved.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have friends who are school teachers and I would check with them on a time-to-time basis with regards to the changing curriculum in today's academic coursework.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that a good tutor is not only one that helps student excels in academic work, but also understand the strengths and weakness of each student. This would greatly help in the student to explore other potential areas of excellence. A good tutor needs to be committed and teach with patience and care for the student's well-being.
