Tuition/Teaching Experience: i am currently studying psychology in james cook university but my schedules are pretty flexible and so committment wise, not much of a problem.
i have taught secondary 4 and 5 amath/emath and comb sciences for the past year, i had 2 students who which grauduated already. currently teaching primary school students on emglish/math/chinese and have 2 students on hand now. i feel that i can cater to the needs of the student's ability as well as the goals of the student and the parents so that the tuition workload will not be too overpowering for the student.

Rapport Building: i usually get to know the student more by speaking to them about their habits after tuition timings, getting them small snacks like sweets to get through the tuition lesson and tell them motivating stories to push them through the entire year of tuitioning

Rapport Building: I approach the student as a friend, this would enable the student to open up easier and absorb information. First I would spot their weaknesses, then tackle them, in whole, I aim to strengthen every aspect of their studies. On parents, it is important to constantly give feedback and summary on the student's progress.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I uses the textbook requested by their school, then I would be able to note the change in content through the years, as i have been active as a tutor for the past 7 years. Since i am diverse in my education, having biology and chemistry in Poly and physics in university, i am able to pull in different teaching examples, which would make it easier for the student to understand. I do buy textbooks and assessment books, reviewing them yearly.

As a Good Tutor: Being able to communicate efficiently with students and parents, ability to impart understanding, providing advice when needed to & assure that the expectation would be met.
