Rapport Building: I think building rapport with your students and the parents are important. This is because having trust is needed. Building rapport also helps them to be more involved and easy to work together. During my first lesson i will get to know my students about their school, results and strengths and weaknesses in their studies. This is to allow me to roughly know how i can conduct my lesson plan for them After which i will tell them the plan for their lessons and also ask their opinion on how they want me to help them better. Make the students feel involve in their studies so that they feel more encouraged to learn. Conduct activites or reward system can also help to motivate them. For their parents, discuss and always give constructive feedback with regards to their children so that the parents will feel secured. Allow them to give me feedback as well to help me improve myself better.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Working in my centre allow me to know the curriculum in school as the materials we used to teach has to be in line with the students syllabus. We will also work with the school of our students to help them better. I would also usually asked my students their school materials to keep myself updated. Apart from that, sometimes i will read the MOE website.

As a Good Tutor: I think as a good tutor patience and not giving are important qualities. Different studies are different hence it maybe hard. However, there are times that we need to adapt to them to assist them better even when we get impatient if it takes a longer time. Our students depend on us so we cant give up on them. I have passion for children and believe all of them have different potentials to be tap on. We have to be versatile ourselves to adapt to the differences. We will also need to take initiative to find our own resources to help them.

As a Good Tutor: Honestly, I am good in teaching A mathematics, E mathematics and physics for upper secondary and H1 and H2 physics for JC 1 and JC2. Though I have only completed A levels, I have also taken H3 physics which is a higher level in depth learning of physics facilitated by the university of Cambridge. hence my H2 and H1 physics is strong.
However, I am not good in H1 Economics, H1 GP for A level subject and this will be clearly reflected in my result. I am weak in SS/Geography, POA , English language. I am also not good in tutoring lower secondary subjects as i am totally not familiar with their syllabus. I do not mind teaching upper primary but I am not good in English language and I am not familiar with the upper primary science syllabus but i am good and familiar with the mathematics syllabus.
