    I have tutored an SCGS girl in Eng, Math and Science since she secondary 2 who is Sec 3 now. I helped to maintain her A1 in Science and her Math and English grades have improved from B4 to A2 and B3 to A1 respectively and currently am tutoring a P4 girl in Eng. As I was a student not too long ago, I am able to spot common misconceptions and mistakes that I will address and point out. I will ensure that all concepts are fully understood before moving onto the next topic. Being adaptable, I will create and adopt a teaching method that will suit their pace and how the learn. Hence I take some time to assess the child's performance and then at the pace of the child's learning break down concepts that they are not familiar with. This allows me to build the child's trust and confidence that he can do well, and consequently help his studies improve.

      I am familiar with primary school syllabus and frequently update myself to ensure I am aligned with the requirements of the school and online updates of national exam syllabus or primary school syllabus. This drives me to organise the material of classes and track the progress of the student more efficiently.
