Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have had 2 years of experience teaching primary school level subjects and I have great passion for teaching in fun and innovative ways so as to improve the child's learning. I enjoy teaching and am very patient while helping students understand concepts or review their mistakes. This allows me to build the confidence of the student and have the child grasp their studies at their own pace.

Commitment / Other Details
I am a full-time student at NUS. I am free on weekdays from 5 pm and am free during weekends at any preferrable timing.
Rapport Building
I believe it is very important to be in tune with the student's concerns and problem areas. Hence I take some time to assess the child's performance and then at the pace of the child's learning break down concepts that they are not familiar with. This allows me to build the child's trust and confidence that he can do well, and consequently help his studies improve.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am familiar with primary school syllabus and frequently update myself to ensure I am aligned with the requirements of the school and online updates of national exam syllabus or primary school syllabus. This drives me to organise the material of classes and track the progress of the student more efficiently.
As a Good Tutor
As a good tutor I will be well informed about the child's weaknesses and strengths and give him or her room to improve through a good system of activities. I will be patient and break down concepts creatively so as to maximise his or her learning and make it fun. In short, I will work hard to allow the child to benefit from a good learning system and build their confidence to do well in school.
