For the first few lessons, I will gauge the child's capabilities and their behavior. After which, I will discuss with parents on targets and methods. I would prefer to work hand in hand with parents as this will bring about better and faster improvements.
I have taught at Nascans. It is a student care centre. I have taken big classes and difficult students as well. I took Upper Primary students at that time and the students had many improvements in their English and Math. Parents loved it there and I had a name for myself there even now. Then I taught Cognitive where its a tuition center for special needs kids. 80% of my students had at least 1 grade jump for English and Math. I have taught more than 100 students so far.
