i am able to start a week after arrangements have been made as i would like to tailor lessons to suit the student's needs. i would be able to commit for a year or so if the student shows improvement
Rapport Building
with students i can relate to them as the experience of learning and the dread of exams are all too familiar with me. hopefully i can come off as approachable and they can also contact me on other days should they have any pressing questions. for parents, i will track student's improvement in results to record their progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
as i have just graduated from JC, the curriculum is relatively fresh in my mind. should there be any changes, it can be viewed on the relevant testing board's website
As a Good Tutor
im quite flexible so i will try to adjust myself to suit student's learning styles and needs. im also rather patient as i have struggled in the education system as well and have met my fair share of dedicated teachers whos merits i hope to uphold. i would also want to teach students how to self learn and be more independent as it is a skill that would propel them in life. furthermore i will also prepare learning material and set homework (if they are able to keep up with schoolwork). lastly, i place emphasis on mental health as a stress and feelings of inadequacy often lead students to burn out
