I use ClassDojo as a form of communication that is transparent to both Parent / child. I will speak to the parent and do a basic profile of the child learning style before the 1st lesson. Most importantly, I will spend at least at least 15 minutes to understand the difficulty and the needs of the child before working out a comprehensive study plan to work for the child. I would also show concern to the child him/herself other than his/her which is usually what the child needs to most.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Years of teaching has allowed me to make many friends in the teaching faculty who can help me to keep abreast of the latest development in the Primary School Education landscape. The resources I have personally built up over the years are also constantly updated to keep up with times.
As a Good Tutor
As a full-time tutor, my role would be complementary / enriching to the child learning needs in school. Understanding the child's / parent's needs is the most fundamental thing I would first established after I accepted an assignment. The parent can be rest assured that he/she will be keep apprised on the child's development after every lesson through an app which the parent can read at their own time.
