3 months as a private tutor to a primary 3 student, 2.5 months as a student care tuition teacher, 1.5 years of mentoring and coming up with enrichment for primary school kids.
I am able to start immediately and can commit to a tuition assignment for a year
Rapport Building
I personally love working with kids, from my cca as an interact club member working with primary school kids, to working part time at a student care, i believe in my ability to connect with young kids and my prior experience has taught me the kind of patience necessary when it comes to young children. I understand the importance of building a relationship when it comes to students as they are more likely to listen to you when they feel heard and understood by you.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am rather familiar with the moe schooling curriculum as i have graduated from school only last year.
As a Good Tutor
I will make sure my students complete their work on time, be strict with them when it is required, and make sure they understand the concepts i am teaching them instead of memorising how to solve questions. I will do my best to attend to their questions and needs even outside of tuition hours.
