      I'll be available from Jan to July 2019 as I am waiting for my A level results.

      Before the start of the tuition session, I'll message if the student has any topics that he or she is weak in, or wishes to go through because of a test. I'll prepare certain worksheets before the session to get a general gauge of their understanding in the topic, and depending on the student's progress, the student will do the worksheet at home himself or on the spot and I'll go through their mistakes with them. The worksheets I provide will be harder as the lesson progresses.
      Keeping Up with Curriculum
      I'm more familiar with the IP syllabus, as I have a younger sister taking the IP syllabus currently, so I have access to the school's curriculum. As I have just graduated from JC, I'm still familiar with the current JC syllabus. I also have juniors whom I can check with regarding the syllabus.
      As a Good Tutor
      Commitment. Depending on my schedule, I'll try to ensure that there is sufficient time for the student to grasp everything he needs to know before sitting for the exams. (so I'll try my best to complete the syllabus until he sits for the exam at the end of the year if time permits) Clear and concise explanations as the student has to understand some of the concepts that he might not be able to understand. Rapport with the student to ensure that they enjoy my lessons sufficiently to be willing to engage and listen.

            Communication is necessary, a proper self-introduction to the parents and children during the first meet-up is important. It sets the first impression which always last. Subsequently, discussion with parents about the progression of their children would always be initiated by me as the common goal we have is always the grades of their children. Thus, coming up with the best way to approach their children would be advisable to discuss with the parents as I feel that they should be the one who understand their children the best.
            Keeping Up with Curriculum
            Listening from both the parents and children may seemed enough, however, my practices would be to go extra mile to seek assistance from the children's respective school teachers. In order to work out the best approach for each individual child to improve not only their grades, but as a whole, their well-being.
