      Parents: after every lesson, I will keep them updated on 1. the student's progress (improvements & areas to improve) 2.the timeline 3.the home work assigned to the student 4. what to expect for the next lesson. For every student I keep a jotter book which journalizes the above mentioned so parents will have a record. For younger students, I would definitely tailor the tuition according to the needs mentioned by the parents.

      Students: for younger students I would normally paste stickers for the questions the answered well and write encouraging remarks/ probing questions (for eg: maybe consider xx) for answers which requires improvement. As mentioned, the student can drop me a text anytime, and I will definitely provide support ASAP.

        I have 7 years of experience in tutoring. I use interactive teaching methods to capture the interest especially those in primary school level as they have shorter attention span. I have good testimonials from the parents of my students too. I am also familiar with the current syllabus. I use different teaching methods for each subject as different subjects have its own challenges. For Science apart from theories, i will focus on application to what being learnt in textbooks as I believe memorizing theories of science notes complements with the techniques of using the application method to open ended questions in Booklet B as this section of the paper is the weakest part of the paper as they often miss out keywords and points and lose marks. I am committed and will follow my students till the end of PSLE. Practice papers and lesson materials will be provided too. My students have at least 1-2 AL score of improvement. Please feel free to ask proof of result.
