Rapport Building: I would get to know how the students are like first, their personality, their character and through that use the most suited teaching method to teach them and open them up to new ideas so that they can learn efficiently and effectively. As for the parents, my target is if the student is currently failing that particular subject then i will try to bring the student from a fail to a pass firsts then progress on. If the student is getting Cs and Ds, i aim to bring it up two grades to As or Bs. If the student is aiming for an A strictly, then i would make sure that my student would get the A.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I would get hold of the curriculum syllabus and understand the syllabus before teaching any student and i would get to understand what the student is weak in and improve on what they are weak in and leverage on what they are good at so as to increase the efficiency of study.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Since I've just finished my A-Levels (2020) and O-Levels (2016), the syllabus is still quite fresh in my memory. However, I do plan to purchase the relevant textbooks, books and read up. Alongside with making my own notes to study them. That way I can also teach the student how to have effective study methods too.

Rapport Building: I am an undergrad hence I believe I am still pretty much in touch with what the younger students like to talk about. I am also very patient and friendly, which makes me very approachable and easy to talk to. I have volunteered at a camp for underprivileged children ( aged 7-12) where I helped to take care of nearly 20 kids for 4D3N and bring them around for games, while there were occasional challenges, I would say the experience showed me how patient I could be with children and the care I had for them. As a would-be tutor, I will definitely do my best to help my students improve.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: As a current undergrad, I believe that I am still in touch with the syllabus. Should the need arise, I would not mind doing extra readings on current textbooks to help my students better.

As a Good Tutor: I believe that one of the most important qualities of a teacher is patience. People around have often described me as a patient, friendly and optimistic person.
