Instead of making tuition lessons boring, I constantly check in with students on how they are doing in school generally & have small conversations with them once in awhile. By doing this, students will not find lessons as boring as they get excited to share their experiences from school to me. I will update parents once every month regarding my student's progress & suggestions to help their child improve as well.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As I am 21 years old, most of the teaching methods relayed to me in school are still fresh in my head. Reading up on assessment books & student's school work help me to keep myself updated with the current curriculum as well.
As a Good Tutor
Some students may be slower in learning thus, exercising patience is an important skill to have as a tutor. Furthermore, I am friendly & approachable which makes it easy for students to ask me any questions they have without being shy. Learning should be a fun process for students which means being an engaging tutor helps students to learn better too.
