Commitment / Other Details: I enjoy teaching students who are willing to learn and work hard towards their academic goals. My lessons are tailored according to each individual's learning methods to optimise the student's performance. I teach content and follow up with worksheets and tests to cement their knowledge on each topic. Then I revisit these topics on a periodic basis to ensure these topics are converted to long term memory. This helps to ease the student in terms of content as the exams approach.

Rapport Building: I normally try to find out more about the students' character thru his ECA, hobbies and subject favorites. From there, I try to pick up my conversation with him during small tutoring breaks. I also like to check with the parents about their concern regarding their child. What are their expectations, if any of the child? Are they close to the child and understand his/her ambitions, needs and aspirations?

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will keep abreast with the latest development /changes in the curriculum by keeping informed and updated. Consistent upgrade and advance notice of the changes are a must to keep myself current and viable student tutor.

As a Good Tutor: Patience, empathy, listening ear, keeping updated of curriculum, solution solver, non-bias assessment are good traits of tutor. Sometimes as a middle person between mother and child too.
