Rapport Building: I will ensure that i know of my tutee's strengths and weaknesses so that i know which areas i need to focus more on. Not only so, my tutee can call me to ask questions even beyond tuition time if he or she needs help. I will also ensure that i communicate with the tutee's parents to know about them in order to tailor a teaching style suitable to them.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I will always read the newspapers and encourage my students to do the same as the subjects that i am interested in teaching are language based. I will constantly research on new syllabus updates so that i can improve on my lessons and ensure that i do not fall behind the curriculum.

As a Good Tutor: i think the basic qualities of tutors are being patient and dedicated. Being patient means to devise many ways of explaining solutions to students and making sure that he understand thoroughly. Dedication means to always plan ahead of lessons to make sure that i use the tuition time productively and be always concerned about the tutee's needs and interests

Tuition/Teaching Experience: I've had one year of experience tutoring 3 H2 Mathematics students one-on-one - one studying in Temasek Junior College, and the other 2 studying in Serangoon Junior College. I've also had experience tutoring 1 Sec 1 Math student studying in Hwa Chong International School.

I've also had experience interning in Tanjong Katong Secondary School as a Math and Physics teacher. In my 3 months as an intern, the students I've personally coached improved tremendously in Mathematics and Physics, jumping from a "D" grade to a "B/A" grade.
