Rapport Building: I will first try to understand the student, the daily lifestyle and what they actually do not know about the subjects through thinking games and interaction. Would always talk to the parents after tuition as to how they can improve by supervising their children when they are doing the homework and buy ecercise books for them to practice.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I would always note down the things to teach for the next lesson and plan what homework was given to them so that I will keep them on track for every lesson

As a Good Tutor: Teaching and helping the student is a must, coming up with ideas and interesting games to get the student interested and physical experiment instead of pictures and on books. Tutor have to be strict at times with the student but also build a close relationship with the student to understand them and apply what they like into what they learn that would get more of their attention .

Rapport Building: I would keep contact with parents and take the opportunity to review their child's progress regularly.
I would also remind parents to keep discipline in the child's work if the child has very minimal discipline.
Parents play an equally important role in their interest in their child's work and as a tutor, and we play the role of giving advice and support to parents whenever they require, especially when the student 's grades is progressing too slowly.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I review the MOE curriculum that can be found online regularly every year. They explicitly stated the guidelines and what is expected of the candidate taking a particular level of study.

In addition, I prefer school exam papers as my teaching materials for students so that they are well-prepared and would never go out of the syllabus.

Assessment books are supplementary materials to give the students a greater exposure to the type of possible questions.

As a Good Tutor: A good tutor should be patient, responsible, strict but not overpowering, and creates a certain degree of discipline in student's work.

A good tutor never fails to stop explaining even if a student still do not understand.

Rapport Building: With adequate communication with the students' parents after classes, parents could be well-informed and aware of their child's current academic caliber and progress. I will adopt a reward approach for students who have shown improvements and as a form of encouragement and drive motivation in them. I also believe in practicing a lot and thus I would encourage students to buy assessment books or practice papers, I would prefer students not do their school homework during class because that would reduce my teaching time. However, if students have problems in their school work, they may bring in to class. The questions that students asked have to be attempted and not left completely blank.
