Rapport Building: Depending on the parent, I'll update them once in a while about how the child is doing. If the child is independent enough, I don't think there's a need to constantly update the parent, so I can build a better rapport with the kid.

For the kid, I allow them to text me questions whenever they face difficulties. I'm also open to helping them with questions they have about subjects that I'm not tutoring them for.
