I have been teaching for nearly a year, one currently in Telok Kurau Primary School and previously in Project Ace Learning Centre.
I have got a testimonial letter written by the school and verified by the principal.
I know that I can be a great tutor because I am exposed to the school's curriculum but more importantly, I want to be able to play a part in impacting into the lives of the children through academics and also indirectly, their well-being. I strongly believe that I have the patience to do so and I am very clear teaching children is the journey I want to embark on.
I am able to start anytime now (in the afternoons or nights time, monday/tuesday/friday) and commit in this. I am open to group tuitions as well.
Rapport Building
Students: I believe ground rules have to be first set for students. I would communicate with my students, get to know them, reward and always encourage them with positive words, being mindful of the words I use (never putting them down with hush words).
Parents: Giving an account to them on what the child has done for the day, do up a monthly review on the child's performance.
