        I volunteered with Good News Community Services in my J1 year to offer peer tutoring services to primary school children, taking ownership of their progress in Mathematics and English.

        I am a patient tutor who wishes to kindle a love of learning in my tuition kids by extolling the virtue of reading. Although I do not feel that my students' breadth of knowledge should be confined by the syllabus in any way, I firmly believe that any further reading must be underpinned by a thorough understanding of the set of syllabus at hand.

        Although I may be lacking in experience when compared to many of my counterparts, I hope to be able to make up for that with the imparting of life lessons which I have acquired during my national service stint to my students.
