            Days before the tutoring session, I will WhatsApp the parents a summary of what I will be teaching their child. If the child is older I hope that I will have the student's contact number so that he or she can WhatsApp me any doubts that he or she have regarding their school work. With that, I will be able to prepare for the sessions beforehand to ensure that the time we have together is efficiently spent. If he or she do not have any doubts I will just find questions for him or her to practice on topics that he or she is weaker in. From there I will be able to clear any doubts that they did not even know existed. At the same time if the parents want to be updated with the tutoring sessions I will send them a summary of the upcoming sessions.
            Keeping Up with Curriculum
            To keep myself updated with the curriculum I will first thoroughly read through the SEAB syllabus document to ensure that the content I will be teaching is in sync with the school. I will also look for assessment books from reliable sources if not past year paper to ensure that the content that I will be teaching is relevant.
            As a Good Tutor
            I love interacting with children. I enjoy how satisfying it is to inspire them or successfully help them in their studies. With such passion and drive, I will be able to patiently teach the student to successfully clear his or her doubts. As a tutor, I would want to pass down the studying tips that I used a student that were very helpful to me. For example, coming up with stories that link to a concept to help me understand and remember it. I would hope to phrase concepts that they find abstract or hard to remember in ways that they can absorb quickly and easily. Lastly, as a good tutor, I hope to inspire every single one of my student to enjoy learning and thus studying. If not at least not hate studying.
