Tuition/Teaching Experience: I specialise in Math tuition for primary and secondary level, but I am also able to tutor english, science and chinese for primary level.

I am dedicated to seeing that the student excel in the subjects that I guide them on, going the extra mile for them.

I have worked with children since I was thirteen, serving in the children ministry. I also have experience handling classroom as I also conduct enrichment lessons in schools. I have two years experience teaching in MPM math tuition agency and 1 and a half year experience doing private tuition.

I believe that students did not fail to learn, but that teachers have failed to teach. With patience and with unique teaching methods, i can help students to understand their subjects.

Commitment / Other Details: I intend to become a full time tutor in 2014.

I am able to start ASAP. For my primary students, i am commited to seeing them through to their PSLE. For my O lvl students, I am commited to see them through O level examinations.

Rapport Building: I will talk to my parents and feedback to them on the progress of my students, what their weaknesses and strengths are, and how i intend to help them.

With my students, i will build rapport by encouraging and praising them alot to build their confidence

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I look through my student's textbook to understand what their teachers are currently teaching

As a Good Tutor: As a good tutor, I feel that one has to understand what the student is thinking to effectively teach and train them to think in another way which is the correct way.

A tutor needs to be patient, and instead of using a 'higher than thou' attitude, they should lower themselves and stand in the shoes to understand how students think. Only in that light, will they be able to effectively help the students.
