I have helped a few of my friends' and relatives' kids on both lower and upper primary mathematics for 2 years. There were 5 kids in total and 3 made immense improvements in their subjects from a C to A in their final SA2 exams.



I am a member of Judo at The Dojo at Siglap South CC and I assist my Head Coach in the kids class where I teach and engage the numerous kids with judo trainings. I am also the Captain of Sim Judo Club where I am in charge of teaching the new members.

    As a Good Tutor
    I am patient and communicative. I worked as a coordinator for one year before and am currently an engineer. Communicating and liaising with people from all walks of life is part and parcel of my everyday job. To deal with people which is less capable in emotion management is even not strange to me. Kids and youths are usually emotionally sensitive. They are prone to being emotionally uncontrollable while under stress or feeling lost. Hence, a tutor without well emotion management can never excel in his job in giving his students fruitful education.

    Also, I enjoy being organized and systematic. I am used to explaining and simplifying things/events to my audience as many of them are not necessarily from a highly educated background. Similar to teaching a kid, I believe the learning process of a child, if not everyone, is simple and straightforward. Only through clear and concise way of giving lessons could a learning target absorb knowledge more effortlessly.

    On a plus point, I reckon putting in fun elements in learning process can much trigger a kid's interest in absorbing knowledge. Raising real life examples, story-telling and graphic impression are some of the ways I used that never failed in drawing my students' attention in the tuitions.

    I might not be the best tutor you would have ever met but one thing for sure is that I will be giving my best in offering the best education aids to students to help them excel in their school study.

I managed to coach my husband who was an ITE graduate with no foundation in Secondary Mathematics to excel in his Polytechnic Engineering Mathematics. I also helped coach his close friend at the Polytechnic and he did well in his exams too. I have started coaching my girl for her Primary 1 and currently Primary 2 school work. I also teach and mark assignments at the Kumon centre near my house specializing in K1 to Primary 2 Mathematics, English and Chinese.
