Emphasis of the course will be on language use and vocabulary, as well as analysing text, which are skills critical for the new syllabus Comprehension. The content will supplement what has been learnt in school, that is, an extension of the school syllabus focusing on reading and foundation skills such as vocabulary. Current affairs will be weaved in to prepare students for spoken interaction (component in oral), argumentative and expository writing. Individualised feedback will be provided for each student.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: Before graduating from NIE as MOE certified Teacher, I had been giving tuitions to students of lower ability, such as normal academic and normal technical streams. There is no best method to mentor a child but to give numberous guidance and patience. Before these, I have taught international students to prepare them for MOE's AEIS. I seek opportunitites to walk this path with my students as it gives me a different exposure to learning and overcoming milestones with them. All students are teachable but need equal opportunities to explore their learning sense. I believe I have great affinity with tutoring students and staying in touch with the syllabus in school is my greatest tool.
