I am able to start immediately and will be available mostly on weekends. Will also be willing to commit long term. Weekday lessons will be subject to my own schedule as I am still studying.

I believe that communication between parents and students is key in helping to bridge the understanding of the students' progress and needs, therefore I ask students to keep a journal where I record the work we've done for each lesson as well as the homework that I provide. Parents may refer to this journal and feedback any concerns that they have.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I understand that MOE has a set syllabus for students and I actively plan my lessons around this to enable students to be more familiar with the curriculum and also give tips to better prepare them for the exams.
As a Good Tutor
As an English tutor, my belief is in building a good foundation (specifically, in grammar) through various exercises that aid understanding of essential grammar functions and then to expanding on vocabulary through assessment books and newspaper readings/summary/book reports. I also seek to impart useful tips on how to tackle difficult exam questions and also provide practice papers to better prepare them. Overall, I hope to help the student be engaged in the language and improve their understanding.
