I am currently a 2nd year English Literature undergraduate. I have been giving private tuition since I was 16, with relief tuition experience in MOE schools. I love to write poetry, and I make it a point to ensure all my students engage in Creative Writing, not just in their normal essay writing, but also other types of writing such as poems and plays, to ensure students do not get bored of writing the same thing every week. In addition to fictional writing, I ensure my students are well versed in current affairs, and require them to express their opinion and take a stand, which develops their analytical skills which are vital to doing well in not just English, but also Literature (in secondary school).

      Rather than a spoon feeding method, I'd prefer to use an approach that stimulate students' thought process and critical thinking.
