Have encountered different kinds of students and my best is to teach students who lack interest in studies and not able to understand in school. My style of teaching is interactive and two-ways; always make sure my student clearly understands before proceeding on. I highlight key points for every chapter, what to take note, what's important and what's not. I will also give interesting facts/information outside textbook, relating to the chapter if I find the student is keen to know more. Most of my students feedback to me that they like the way I teach as I could induce interest in them. Recently I am teaching more of the upper sec student and currently holds 2 sec 3 boys for Emaths and comb sci(chem/phy).

Tuition/Teaching Experience: My first classroom teaching experience was as a volunteer elementary school teacher at a rural village in Cambodia during my Overseas CIP trip where I went there to teach the children Basic English and mathematics.

In addition, I worked as a part-time tuition teacher for 2 months teaching subjects like mathematics and science before my enlistment.

I have acquired professional presentation skill through the various Science Conferences I have participated over the past years, as well as the Project Work curriculum in my Junior College term. Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been a part time tutor since 2001. My first pupil was an EM2 pupil whose parents wanted him to opt for EM1 and study Higher Chinese. After giving him tuition, his grades improved and he achieved a distinction for his PSLE. One of my current pupil has been with me since P1. He is now in P5. He always gets A* for his Chinese. Last year, he was awarded Best in Chinese Language in the P4 level last year.

As a school teacher previously, I started out teaching lower primary, but for the past 3-4 years, I specialise in teaching Upper Primary Chinese and Higher Chinese. All my P6 graduating pupils achieved A and A* for their PSLE. Even the pupils who were previously identified as weak in Chinese (D7/E8) scored A for Chinese for their PSLE.
