I have 2 years plus of tutoring experience. I have taught P5 EMSC, P1-3 EMC and Secondary 1 Mathematics. My P5 girl who used to fail her English, managed to pass within 2 months of tutoring and scored 62 for her End-of-Year exams. I also taught a boy in a top class and he managed to maintain his grades.

I will pride myself as someone who is patient and will put in extra effort as long as the student is receptive to learning. I will guide them with effective studying methods other than academics, which i believe are very important to do well.

A few years ago, a parent called me up to ask if I would take her son for tuition. The boy was Primary 3 and he wasn't paying attention in class, nor seem to understand certain subjects. The parent shared with me that the reason behind his inattentiveness was due to the fact that he was diagnosed with ADHD. The parent shared with me that she wasn't expecting miracles but she hoped I could improve his grades.

Though the parent thought that I would have a hard time with the boy, I ended up being his close friend, teacher and elder sister. Not only did his grades improve, but he managed to get B1s in the subjects I taught and there was an overall improvement in his character as well. I ended up teaching him for 2 whole years.

            I am currently working a temporary job on weekdays (0830 - 1730) and on Saturday (0830 - 1230). Therefore I will only be available on weekday nights, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning/afternoon, which is quite ideal for most students.
