Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been tutoring in English for about a year, and I currently have 2 other students, both in Secondary School. I have also been teaching my own sister, currently in Primary 6. This makes me very familiar with the syllabus for English in both Primary and Secondary School.

I prefer to teach in a more complete method, i.e instead of grammar and vocabulary drills all the time, I use passage readings, discussions and conversations to improve the English of my students.

- befriend and build strong rapport with them
- teach ahead of schools, yet put aside sufficient time to brush-up the areas of weaknesses
- incorporate the use of technology such as iPad and smartphones and utilize online resources for students to enhance their own learning
- allow students to engage me 30-min after lessons to consult on any matters outside of what I taught. For eg, help with homework, study tips etc.

For parents with budget constraints, I rented a room a Student Care Centre at Bukit Gombak (3 minutes from MRT station) to teach small-group tuition.
