Tuition/Teaching Experience: I am passionate about education and nurturing students to their full potential. I believe every child needs to find their passion and interest in the subject in order to do well. I also feel that school is about learning rather than rote memorization or some of the rather academic-driven methods of the school.

Thus I hope that out of school, my students will be able to not only do well, but also to appreciate the art and the beauty of what they are learning, so that they can learn to gain different perspectives to the world around them, through the different subjects they are exposed to.

My niche subjects are English and English Literature. I have a fervent passion for Literature and I hope my students get to feel the joy of analyzing, appreciating and feeling a text.

Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have previously taught at a primary school in 2011 and 2012 as a relief teacher. The students were extremely inspiring and I learnt more than when I was a student myself in the same school. Their results may not be the best but their behaviour and attitude towards learning encourages me to want to pick up teaching even after I graduate.
Their inabilities to learn and pick new knowledge up initially frustrated me but with help from the experienced teachers and with greater patience I had as my time in the school passed, I realised they were a bunch of bright but unpolished gems who have not had enough dedication showered upon them. I realised I enjoy teaching a lot and I feel extremely satisfied and happy when I enlighten another young child with my knowledge.
