I have a strong passion in Mathematics and I understand the frustration involved in not being able to understand and lagging behind in studies and I would like to extend my help to students who need them. I firmly believe that the formula to doing well is to first have an interest in what you are doing. Hence, I believe that I am capable of making the student develop and maintain an interest in the subjects that I would tutor him/her in.
One thing I have learnt about Mathematics is that it is very structured and I would like to impart this skill to my students. I believe that with the right method, Students can begin to see the light and begin to take an interest in solving Mathematics problems just like I do. Also, with the right skills and attitude, Students can see results.
I am currently available to teach Mandarin and also Mathematics, 2 subjects which I have consistently been doing well. I am currently taking Mathematics and Statistics Modules at University Level.
Some of my accolades include representing my secondary school in various Mathematics and Chinese competitions such as the Cluster South 1 Inter- School Competition and also the Inter School Chinese essay writing competition. I also received yearly Edu Save scholarships from Secondary 1-3 and was in the O levels distinction club. I was also top in level for Lower Secondary History, Science and Chinese.
Currently, my schedule is very flexible as I am currently having my school vacation until Mid September. After which, I can arrange my classes to fit the schedule of the student.
I would prefer students who are in the west areas such as Bukit Batok, Clementi, Jurong East & Central Areas such as Bukit Timah.
The days which I prefer are currently any 2-3 weekdays and preferably not weekends.
