Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have taught a total of 6 students as a part time private tutor over the past 2 years. I have taught Math and Science with students ranging from p5-sec4.
Examples of achievements by my student after receiving tuition:
After tutoring a P5 boy in math and science for 4 months, his math and science went from failing grades to passing grades. A p6 girl I took in year 2011 topped her class in PSLE after 8 months of Math and Science tuition.
I aspire to open my own tuition center in the future because I truly am passionate in teaching and being the facilitator of effective learning.
Lastly, being a scholar from NTU college of science, I really value knowledge and understand the importance of good tutors in every student's learning journey, and certainly aspire to be one.
Able to start from 25th June 2012 onwards, tentatively every Monday/Wednesday in the late afternoon or evening.
Will be able to commit till the end of the academic year. Lessons may need to be postponed if University major exams are round the corner. However, will try to schedule as tight as possible so as to provide as much help to the student before their examinations.
