I was awarded the "Best in Subject Award for H2 English Literature" for the 2010 Promotional Examinations in Yishun Junior College.

I was also selected and placed in a special programme for high achievers known as the Enhancement of Student's Potential Programme (ESP) in Junior College as recognition for being ranked within the top 10 percentile of students in my cohort.

I also participated in the ESP peer mentoring programme in 2010 and 2011 in Junior College where I taught Literature in English to my fellow schoolmates.
