I have been teaching Physics at a local JC since 2005, and have been on no-pay leave since 2010 to look after young kids at home.
I am responsible and dedicated. I enjoy teaching, and find great satisfaction in interacting with students.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to commit for the long term, at least a few years. My rates are 80/hr for JC, and 60-70/hr for Sec.
I believe in establishing good rapport with students, to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I will then cater my teaching style to meet their learning needs and abilities. Depending on the topic, I use a variety of methods to teach Physics concepts (e.g. Applets, video clips, etc.) so that students have a lasting impression, internalise the concepts and can learn better. I present Physics concepts in a clear and concise manner, by breaking them down into simple ideas. Students have benefitted from this, and found the subject to be not as daunting as it used to be for them.
