I grew up in China since I was three, and attended both local and international schools until I graduated in 2010. In my final years of high school, I was lucky enough to get a part time job doing one on one tutoring for Chinese with a New Zealand diplomat's son. I also conducted workshops for younger students at my school. I'm fluent in both English and Chinese, but my English is slightly stronger for bizarre reasons. Having caused my own educators endless amounts of grief, I empathize with disobedient students and try to be ceaselessly patient. Of course, I'm always pleasantly surprised to find most kids less bratty than I was.
