Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have just completed my degree in psychology and thesis on 'Occupational Stress' at James Cook University, Singapore. I have also been a part-time home tutor for 4 years and tutored at clearminds tuition centre in 2015 (PSLE science), where students obtained good grades. I have taught both primary and secondary school levels. I ensure that my tutee is comfortable enough to clarify doubts and that their foundations are strong so as to build up their confidence in the subject gradually. I try my best to collate materials to help my students in areas that they are weak at and encourage them to use materials such as mindmaps. Additionally, I have also worked as a relief class support at St. Andrews Autism Centre and volunteered in school social work programs. I enjoy working with children.
