I have taught English for 3 years and tutored students from Primary 1 to Secondary 4. I would teach Literature if students really needed help in that subject. I also taught Maths at a Maths learning centre for children as young as 4 years old to 8 years old for one year. I have about 4 years experience in total in tutoring.
My students have improved from failing or band 3 to band 2 and many band 1s for primary school. As for secondary school, my students have improved from C6 or failing to B3 or A2s and even A1s. I make sure that my students fully understand what they learn and cultivate reading (for English) in them which I feel is essentially important. I believe in encouraging them to instill confidence in their learning process:)
