1) Starts off with various tests to find out about students' ability
2) Provides occasional checklists (regarding understanding of each and every topic) for self-check as well as to allow them to focus their attention on certain topics
3) Ensure that students make it a habit to keep a small handbook where they note down important learning points (from all the questions they do and which concepts are not explicit in textbooks and workbooks)
4) Generally for each lesson, students will clarify their doubts on questions that they done over the week. Rather than spoon-feeding them with the answers directly, questions will be directed back to the students to guide them to the answers themselves. (I will also keep track along the way whether the student has neglected certain topics when I realize a lack in questions for those certain topics)
