Having 5years of teaching experience, I have indeed seen a variety of students. Out of which includes one girl whose English I managed to pull from a C6 to an A1 in 8 months. This i believe is not only because of the rapport i have with the student but also because of the teaching style i adhere to. I believe in hands-on learning meaning exposing students to not only text books but also to the every day lives. This is especially important in the higher levels where the questions are more practically-based. I also use mindmaps to enhance tuition sessions. Homework is also important for it helps enforce the knowledge that has been taught.
