Last year from Jan-Mar, I was on a teaching attachment at Punggol Secondary, where I gained some experience in classroom teaching and techniques to gather the student's attention. My work scope included preparing lessons, conducting lessons and remedial, including both Express and N(A) and for all levels. Last Apr-Jul, I volunteered at Anderson Secondary, giving tuition to a group of 6 Sec 4 students in Mathematics every Thursday. My main motivation for giving tuition is that I enjoy interacting with young people, especially teenagers, as many of them have interesting world views and personalities. Also, the feeling of satisfaction that follows once they've understood something is quite hard to replicate elsewhere.

I can start immediately. I'm free on weekends and some weekday evenings. Should the parents request extra lessons nearing exam periods I'll always be happy to oblige, if time permits.
In addition to improving your child's exam results, I will also make it my personal responsibility to cultivate good studying habits in your child and push him towards being an independent learner, so that he/she would undertake his/her own learning in the future.
